Einleitung

Wenn deine PlayStation Schwierigkeiten beim Lesen von CDs hat, muss vielleicht das optische Laufwerk gewechselt werden. Bei älteren Modellen neigt das Laufwerk zu Ausfällen, da sich manche Kunststoffteile im Laufe der Zeit verbiegen können. Diese Anleitung zeigt, wie es zusammen mit der Laser- und Antriebseinheit ausgetauscht wird.

Hinweis: Diese Reparatur wird an einem SCPH-1001 Modell dargestellt. Der Prozess könnte sich etwas anders gestalten, wenn du ein neueres Modell hast.

    • Stelle sicher, dass die Konsole ausgeschaltet und ausgesteckt ist, bevor du beginnst.

    Please try not to pull via the wires as you run the risk of breaking the cable, in which if you have a replacement reader like mine you will need this cable again as it didn’t come with one. I recommend wiggling it from each side. Seems to work for me.

    • Hebe den Stecker des Datenkabelsauf der Hauptplatine mit dem flachen Ende des Spudgers auf einer Seite nach oben und löse ihn ab. Wiederhole auf der anderen Seite.

    • Du wirst ein deutliches Klicken hören, wenn sich der Stecker löst. Übe beim Hochheben nicht zuviel Kraft mit dem Spudger, der Stecker könnte beschädigt werden.

    • Ziehe das Datenkabel des optischen Laufwerks behutsam gerade nach oben aus seinem Anschluss auf der Hauptplatine heraus und trenne es ab.

    Same exact problem with pulling the entire connector off the motherboard. What do i do?

    Yes, could try clean and re-solder, and do a proper re-work job.

Abschluss

Vergleiche das Austauschteil mit dem Originalteil– vielleicht musst du Teile übertragen oder Schutzfolien vom neuen Bauteil entfernen, bevor du es einbaust.

Um dein Gerät wieder zusammenzubauen, befolge diese Schritte in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge.

Entsorge deinen Elektromüll sachgerecht.

Laser Drive Models

SCPH-100x : KSM-440AAM and KSM-440ACM

SCPH-550x-700x : KSM-440ADM

SCPH-750x-900x : KSM-440AEM

SCPH-10x : KSM-440BAM

Chances are most, if not all of the original AAM and ACM lasers are worn out.

Some vendors still carry an supposed original KSM-440BAM laser unit only.

I could not make this laser work in a SCPH-1001 unit, even after the transfer of parts.

I heard a rumor of spacers and motherboard adjustment.

PU-8 test point: CL708, voltage reading to ground without disk - 1.7 volts DC, voltage reading with disk 1.85 volts DC.

Very fine adjustment… I have yet to try this step. Has anyone?

What about spacers? Do I need these?

You must transfer the rubber grommets and the plastic laser cover from the old laser to the new.

If you don’t, the new laser will be too large for the SCPH-1001 chassis.
