Teardown

Einleitung

Teardown des Logitech S120 Slim Mini Stereo Lautsprechers.

    • Desktop PC Lautsprecher

    • Gewicht: 0,45 kg

    • Höhe: 15,8 cm

    • Breite 6,78 cm

    • Tiefe: 6,38 cm

    • Power: 2,2 W(RMS)

    • RCA und 3,5 mm Klinkenanschlüsse

    • Um das Lautsprechergitter zu entfernen, nimmt man einen flachen Gegenstand, so etwas wie ein Schlitzschraubendreher.

    • Das Werkzeug unten am Gitter überhalb des Logos einsetzen.

    • Nach oben hebeln, bis sich das Gitter löst.

    • Den Schraubenzieher in die Naht am Gehäuse einsetzen.

    • Mit Druck den Schraubendreher ins Gehäuse drücken.

    • Den Schraubendreher am Rand entlang ziehen, bis sich die zwei Hälften trennen.

    • Einen Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher verwenden, um die Schrauben der Platine und des Lautsprechers zu lösen.

    • Die Platine und den Lautsprecher aus dem Gehäuse entfernen.

    This isnt what mine looks like at all. Granted, the step down transformer and affiliated components are on the other speakers board, but that just takes care of wattage input.

    Mine litteraly consists of 3 capacitors, 1 SC1863 IC chip, 1 led, 1 potentiometer, and 1 headphone jack. It also has power and speaker connections, but I dont consider those components. That's it.

I took mine apart, only the Speaker that contains the On/Off Volume— Potentiometer. That Speaker fell off my table and hit the floor landing on the Volume control knob, since then the Speakers do not work unless I insert something to keep pressure on the Volume Control’s shaft. Is it possible to obtain and replace the potentiometer/On/Off Switch…?

Yeah. Same here. I was blown away of the fact that there are no trasistors. Zero. None.

There is one IC chip, SC1863. But I cant find info on it.

Actually I just want to use it as a portable usb powered guitar amp. But I cant get my head around no transistors in it. Weird, huh?
