Anna-Maria Fernandez and Julie Richardson successfully defended their title, by defeating Barbara Gerken and Heather Ludloff 6–1, 6–4 in the final.[1]

Later, partnering Heather Ludloff in the doubles final, Gerken just could not reverse her fortunes although she reversed the scoreline, falling to the steadier play of defending champions Anna-Maria Fernandez and Julie Richardson who won 6-1, 6-4.
