A. Ganeshamurthi

Avinashi Ganeshamurthi (10 June 1947 – 28 March 2024) was an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu who was a member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). He last represented Erode in the Lok Sabha.[1][1] He had earlier been an MP in the 12th and 13th Lok Sabhas.[2][3][4][5]

In this Indian name, the name Avinashi is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Ganeshamurthi.

In 28 March 2024, Ganeshamurthi died in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, after committing suicide by poisoning himself. He was 76.[6][7][8]
