Abdul Ghafar Saad

Abdul Ghafar bin Saad is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Guar Chempedak since August 2023.[1][2] He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.[3]

In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Saad is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Abdul Ghafar. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
