In 2023, businessman and politician Vidiye Tshimanga bought a spot in the congolese first division from the sports team of the Jeunesse sportive de Kinshasa ; in a press conference held on the 21st of August 2023, he precises that the club is omnisports and not a continuation of the JFK.[1]
