Aiym Meirzhanova

Aiym Meirzhanova (born 19 August 2008) is a Kazakh rhythmic gymnast.[1] She's a multiple Asian Championship medalist.

Career

She took up gymnastics at age 4.[2] She won silver with ball at the 2022 Asian Championships.[3] In 2023 she competed at Miss Valentine, winning silver with ribbons and bronze with hoop.[4][5] In March Aiym competed at the “Aphrodite Cup” in Athens, winning silver in the All-Around and bronze with ribbon.[6][7] At the Sofia Cup she was 13th in the All-Around, 5th with clubs and 7th with ribbon.[8] At the 2023 Asian Championships she won gold with ball, silver in teams, with clubs and ribbon.[9][10][11] Selected for the Junior World Championships in Cluj-Napoca she finished 16th with ball, 20th with clubs, 10th with ribbon and 9th in teams.[12]
