Alakbar Safi
Karbalayi Mirza Alakbar Safi Meshadi Muhammedhuseyn oglu (Azerbaijani: Kərbəlayi Mirzə Ələkbər Məşədi Məhəmmədhüseyn oğlu Safi; b.1840, Shusha, Shusha uezd, Elizavetpol Governorate, Russian Empire - d. ?) was an Azerbaijani poet of the 19th century, a member of the Majlisi-Faramushan literary society.

Life
Kerbalayi Mirza Alakbar was born in the city of Shusha in 1840, though he originated from the village of Merdinli in the Javanshir-Dizak district. He received his primary education from his uncle. He engaged in various crafts and was also a poet, writing under the pseudonym "Safi." He was a member of the literary society "Majlisi-Faramushan." Kerbalayi had two sons, Ali and Ismail, and a daughter, Sona.[1][2]
