Geography
Athner is located at 21.62°N 77.92°E, within the Satpura Range in the southern part of the district. It has an average elevation of 741 metres (2,431 ft).[2]

Athner has a population of 11,915, of which 5,991 are male and 5,924 are female, per the 2011 census.[3]
