Baba Souare

Baba Oulen Souare (born 7 March 1999) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a defender in the Danish 1st Division club Næstved Boldklub.[1]

Early years

Born in Genève, Switzerland, Souare started his career in the youth sector at Servette.[2]

Servette

Souare began his senior career in Switzerland with Servette.[3]

Grasshoppers

He transferred to Grasshopper Club Zurich on 29 March 2019.[4]

Loan to Kriens

Souare was loaned to Kriens for one year by Grasshoppers on 24 August 2020.[5][6]

Return to Servette

Souare signed a three-year contract with Servette on 20 July 2022.[7][8] Souare left Servette by mutual consent on 30 January 2024.[9]

Næstved

On 31 January 2024, Souare joined Danish 1st Division club Næstved Boldklub.[10]

International career

Born in Switzerland, Souare is of Senegalese descent.[11] He has been capped at youth level for Switzerland.[12][13]
