History

The school opened on 23 January 1989,[4] serving as the prototype of the new HS88 Design Series,[5] a design used by the Department of Education for constructing new high school buildings. In 2019, a teacher at the school pleaded guilty to six child exploitation charges, 'five counts of distributing and one count of possessing child exploitation material,' which effectively ended his career as a teacher.[6][7][8]
