Dalton School Hong Kong

Dalton School Hong Kong (DSHK; traditional Chinese: 香港道爾頓學校; simplified Chinese: 香港道尔顿学校) is a non-profit, private independent primary school in Hong Kong.[2] The school is located in Hoi Fai Road in Kowloon.

History

The school was established in August 2017 by China Everbright Charitable Fund, Sun Hung Kai & Co. Charitable Foundation, CITIC Group's Capital Charitable Fund and Value Partners.[3] In September 2023, Dalton Foundation and the Dominican Missions jointly announced that DSHK will assume stewardship of Rosaryhill School Kindergarten and Primary School in the 2024/25 school year.[4][5]

Academics

The school instructs students using English and Mandarin.[6] It follows the Dalton Plan, an educational model that grew out of the progressive education movement of the early 20th century.[6] The school has class sizes of between 18 and 20 students.[6]
