Finn Bennett

Finn Bennett (born 1999) is an Irish-British actor best known for playing Officer Peter Prior in True Detective: Night Country (2024).[1][2][3]

Life and career

Bennett is the son of Ronan Bennett, an Irish novelist and screenwriter, and Georgina Henry, a British journalist. He attended school in London, and Stagecoach drama school in Islington on Saturdays.[3] Instead of going to university, he had various jobs until booking Domina.[4]

In September 2022, Bennett was cast as Peter Prior on the fourth season of the HBO anthology series True Detective, subtitled Night Country,[5] which premiered on 14 January 2024.[6] In March 2024, he was cast on the Netflix television series Black Doves and in Alex Garland's film Warfare.[7][8] On 18 June 2024, it was confirmed that Bennett would join the cast of A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms as Aerion Targaryen.[9]
