He competed in the Long jump, pole vault, shot put and 120 yards hurdles at the 1930 British Empire Games for England.[1]
Personal life
He was a Regimental sergeant major in the Scots Guards and Queens bodyguard for 27 years. Warded MBE, MSM and RVM [2]
