Genevieve Chenneour

Genevieve Manon Florence Chenneour (born 1997 in Northallerton), formerly Genevieve Martha Manon Randall [1] is an English Actor who played Miss Clara Livingston in the Netflix production Bridgerton and has a lead role in the film 1242: Gateway To The West.[2]

Previously, she was a professional athlete who represented the Team GB at the Baku 2015 European Games,[3][4] World Aquatics and European Championships in the solo, duet, and team synchronised swimming events.[5]

Early life and education

Genevieve was born in Northallerton and brought up in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. She was educated at King Alfred's Academy,[3] and Oxford Brookes University.[6][7]

Career

Synchronised swimming

Chenneour competed internationally with Great Britain at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships. She held the Team GB UK Sport Athlete Podium Potential Award from 2013 to 2014.[8] She competed in the 2014 European Aquatics Championships and finished thirteenth in the women's solo and duet events.[9] In 2015 she competed at the European Games in Baku and the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia.[10] In 2015, she was named ASA Aquatic Awards Performance Athlete of the Year alongside her duet partner, Jodie Cowie [11] and was awarded an International Olympic Committee Olympic Solidarity Athlete Scholarship.
