"Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)" is a song by American country music group the Dixie Chicks. The song was written and originally recorded by Radney Foster in 1999. He sent the song to the group just before lead vocalist Natalie Maines had her baby. Appearing as a guest backing vocalist is Emmylou Harris. "Godspeed" premiered on June 2, 2003, to country radio as the fourth single from the group's sixth studio album Home (2002).
