Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel
Halfdan Ullman Tøndel (born 1990) is a Norwegian filmmaker.[1] His film Armand won the Caméra d'Or for best first feature at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.[2]

Early life and education
Tøndel was born in 1990. His mother is Linn Ullmann and his grandparents are Liv Ullmann and Ingmar Bergman.[3][1][4] He studied filmmaking at Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology.[5]
Career
After directing the short films Bird Hearts and Fanny, Tøndel's feature-length debut, Armand, premiered in the Un Certain Regard portion of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.[6][5][7]
