Hanbhi

Hanbhi (Urdu: ہانبھی), or Hambhi sometimes spelt as Hanbi is a Sindhi Sammat tribe settled in Pakistan. It is a clan of Sindhi Diyo tribe of Samma.[1] Hanbhi is also a clan among Sindhi Jamote tribe of Balochistan.

Details

Hanbhi came from Taxila in 1 BC and settled in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. They primarily work as Landlords.

People of this tribe are settled in all provinces of Pakistan, such as Rajanpur (Punjab); Jacobabad, Larkana, and Ranipur (Sindh); Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province; Quetta, Sibi, Kachhi, Sohbatpur, Nasirabad, Jafarabad, Pishin, Loralai and, Harnai (Balochistan). They speak different Languages like Sindhi, Saraiki, and Pashto.

Clans

The Hanbhi/Hambhi tribe's main clans are Alizai, Adinzai, Sabdozai, Masuzai, Blochani, Ilyasani, Muradani, Bahadurani, Salarzai, Loharzai, Sonezai, Essazai, and Hadezai.
