Harry Dixon (cricketer)
Harry Dixon (born 16 February 2005) is an Australian cricketer for Melbourne Renegades and Australia U19. He is a left-handed batsman and right arm off break bowler.

Early life
Dixon began playing cricket aged seven years-old. He played for Malvern, before moving to Toorak Prahran. He started playing for Victoria U15s in 2018, when he was 13-year-old.[1] He attended Melbourne Grammar School.[2]
Career
Dixon plays club cricket in Victoria for St Kilda Cricket Club.[3] He scored his first century in Victorian Premier Cricket in February 2023.[4] Dixon played cricket for the Melbourne Stars academy side.[5] However, in September 2023 he was signed by cross-town rivals Melbourne Renegades for the Big Bash League on a two-year professional contract.[6]
International career
Playing for Australia U19 in 2023, Dixon scored 167 in a youth test match against England U19, and 148 in a youth one-day match against England U19.[7] His innings of 148 came from 125 balls and included nine sixes.[8] In December 2023, he was selected in Australia's squad for the 2024 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa.[1] Australia won the tournament, and he was selected for ESPNcricinfo's Team of the Tournament with an average of 44.14 and a strike rate of 81.[9]
Style of play
A left-handed opening batsman with the capacity to be destructive at the top of the order, Dixon has said that he idolises Australian batsman David Warner.[10]
