Itamar (Hebrew: אִיתָמָר, romanized: ʼĪtamar) is Hebrew masculine given name. Variants in English include Etamar, Isamar or Ithamar. It likely originally meant "island of palms" or "father of Tamar".[1] In Aramaic, the word means "saying".[2][3]
