Jonah Kusi-Asare

Jonah Daniel Kusi-Asare (born 4 July 2007) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a forward for German club Bayern Munich U19.

Club career

Kusi-Asare played for Academic teams of Brommapojkarna. He moved to AIK on January 2023.[1] On 28 August 2023, he made his senior debut for AIK against Varberg in the Allsvenskan,[2] becoming the youngest AIK player ever at the age of 16 years, 1 month and 24 days.[3] He finished the 2023 season with four appearances in the Allsvenskan.[4]

On 1 February 2024, Kusi-Asare signed for German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich for a reported fee of €4,500,000[5] set to initially join the under-19 roster.[6]

He has represented the Sweden national U16 team.

Personal life

Jonah is the son of the Swedish-Ghanaian former footballer Jones Kusi-Asare.[7] His mother is Finnish.[8] He is eligible to represent Sweden, Ghana and Finland.[9]
