Kesäpäivä Kangasalla
Kesäpäivä Kangasalla (transl. Summer Day at Kangasala) (Swedish: En sommardag i Kangasala) also known as Mä oksalla ylimmällä is the regional anthem of Pirkanmaa, Finland. It was written in Swedish by Zachris Topelius in 1853 as part of the poetry collection Sylvia's songs.[1]
The song was composed by Gabriel Linsén in 1864 and the song was made into the regional anthem of Pirkanmaa in 1995. The song is also sung during the summer in Kangasala.[2]
