Kulachi (tribe)

Kulachi and Kolachi (Urdu: کولاچی/کُولاچی) are two distinct tribes living in Sindh and South Punjab, Kolachi is a sub-tribe of Dodai Rajput origins,[1][2] while Kulachi or Kalachi is a tribe of Med/Mallah/Muhana (Fishermen) that got its name from the Kulanch area of Makran.[3][4][5] where majority of Sindhi Jadgals and Meds live.[6] These Kulachi meds now live in Ibrahim Hyderi, Shams goth and Baba bhit in Karachi.[4]
