Leptaxis caldeirarum
Leptaxis caldeirarum is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Helicidae, the typical snails.[2]

The status of this species is uncertain.[2]
Description
The length of the shell attains 10.4 mm.
Distribution
The population of this species is restricted to the Sete Cidades volcanic complex, in the western tip if the São Miguel island in the Azores. This species is very rare and lives around the Sete Cidades crater.[3]
Habitat
Leptaxis caldeirarum lives in secondarily forested areas and native vegetation.
