LotusFlare is a software development company focused on creating products for the telecommunications industry and providing SaaS products to enterprises.[1][2][3] The company is based on Palo Alto, California.[4]

Background
LotusFlare was founded in June 2014 by Sam Gadodia, Terry Guo, and Shao Xia who met while working at Facebook.[5] The initial operations were funded by a $4 million seed investment from, among others, Social Capital, Google Ventures, and Metamorphic Ventures.[6][7]
In September 2015, the company raised a $6 million Series A investment led by Chamath Palihapitiya's firm Social capital.[8][1] At that time, he joined the company as the chairman of the board.[8]
Awards and recognition
2019: Received Leading Lights award as the Outstanding Digital Enablement Vendor for its Digital Network Operator platform.[9]
2020: Winner of the 2020 Leading Lights Awards in the Outstanding Component Vendor category.[10]
