Louis Mouquet

Louis Moise Nascimento Mouquet (born 21 July 2004) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain. Born in France, he represents Portugal at youth international level.

In this Portuguese name, the first or maternal family name is Nascimento and the second or paternal family name is Mouquet.

Club career

Mouquet joined the youth academy of Paris Saint-Germain in 2010 at the age of six.[1] On 2 June 2022, he signed his first professional contract with the club until June 2025.[2] Two days later on 4 June, he made his debut for the club's reserve side in a 3–2 league win over Linas-Montlhéry.

International career

Mouquet has represented Portugal at different youth levels.[1][3]

Style of play

A right-footed goalkeeper, Mouquet is known for his reflexes.[4]

Personal life

Mouquet was born in France to a French father and a Portuguese mother.[5] He has obtained baccalauréat in mathematics.[1]
