Nanjil Vijayan

Nanjil Vijayan is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil television. He is known for appearing in shows such as Athu Ithu Ethu and Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? as an contestant. In 2022, he also appeared in the drama series Valli Thirumanam which aired on Colors Tamil.[1]

Personal life

In 2023, Nanjil married his long time girlfriend Mariya in a small wedding ceremony.[2][3]

Career

Nanjil has appeared in the television shows Athu Ithu Ethu and Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? which aired on Star Vijay and those shows also marked his debut into the entertainment industry.[4]

However he played a small role in the 2010 film Bayam Ariyaan and later received many film offers and appeared in films such as Kanithan (2016), Kanni Raasi (2020) and Anbulla Ghilli (2022). In 2024, he made an comeback in the show Cooku with Comali season 5 however he quitted the show in the early stages due to personal issues.[5]

Controversy

Nanjil Vijayan started posting on social media in support of actress Vanitha Vijayakumar, and his opinion apparently left Surya Devi who is an Tik Tok sensation upset.[6] After this, Nanjil Vijayan posted a video on social media saying that Surya Devi is reportedly responsible for a raid at Vanitha's house which did not go well with her.[7][8]
