Nitin Agarwal (civil servant)

Nitin Agarwal is an 1989- batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from Kerala cadre and currently serving as the 31st Director General of the Border Security Force of India since 12 June 2023.[1][2][3]

Early life

Agarwal was born in 1963 in Delhi, India.[4]

career

Aggarwal previously holds many important position in central governments 's agencies in her service and He currently posted as Additional Director General of Operations at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) headquarters in Delhi.[4][5]

Apart from working in various departments in Kerala, Nitin Agarwal has also headed the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).[4][6]

Education

Agarwal has completed her master's degree in B.Tech in civil engineering from Indian Institutions of Technology (Delhi) in year 1983 to 1987 and M.Tech from IIT Delhi in year 1987 to 1989 and agarwal also gain degree of M.Phil in social Science from Panjab University.[7]
