Career
Ziljstra started his career with Dutch side LVV Friesland. In 1979, he signed for Dutch side SC Cambuur. He retired from professional football in 1987.[1]
Personal life
Zijlstra has six older siblings.[2] After retiring from professional football, he lived in Burgum, the Netherlands. Zijlstra has been married.[3]
