Firm history and main mailstones

In 2006, Chambers & Partners awarded Pérez-Llorca with the award 'Iberian Law Firm of the Year'.[4]

In 2017, Chambers & Partners presented Pérez-Llorca with the award for 'Spain Law Firm of the Year' for the second time.[5][6]

In October 2018, the Firm opened its second office in Madrid in the so-called Foster Tower, in the Cuatro Torres Business Area financial district, and became classified as a Large Company.[7]

The firm began publishing its own Legal Journal in 2019, the year in which its founder José Pedro Pérez-Llorca passed away.[8][9]

In 2021 Pérez-Llorca moved its London headquarters to Mayfair[10]

The firm's expansion continued with new openings in Brussels and Singapore in 2022 and 2023.[11][12]

In September 2023 Pérez-Llorca announced the establishment of a new office and team in Lisbon. This office is dedicated to practising Portuguese law and the firm’s aim is to increase its work in this market to cover the entire Iberian Peninsula.[13]

The Pérez-Llorca/IE Chair on Commercial Law is a top collaborative initiative launched by both a law firm and a university.[14]

Pérez-Llorca/ICADE Chair

In 2021 the firm signed a collaboration agreement with the Universidad Pontificia Comillas to create the Pérez-Llorca/ICADE Chair in Economics and Competition Law.[15]
