Peter Kendall (farmer)
Sir Peter Ashley Kendall (born 8 May 1960) is an English farmer and former National Farmers' Union (NFU) officeholder from East Bedfordshire.[1]
Kendall was the President of the NFU from 2006 until 2014.[2] He was elected president of the World Farmers' Organisation in March 2014,[3] but resigned in October of that year after being appointed chair of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board in the UK.[4][2]
He was knighted in the 2015 New Year Honours.[5]
