Presidency of Claudia Sheinbaum
President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) is scheduled to take office as President of Mexico for a six-year term on 1 October 2024 following her victory in the 2024 general election.[1][2]

Sheinbaum announced her first cabinet appointments on 20 June 2024:[3]
- Juan Ramón de la Fuente at the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs
- Marcelo Ebrard at the Secretariat of the Economy
- Alicia Bárcena at the Secretariat of the Environment and Natural Resources
- Rosaura Ruiz at the new Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (to be created to replace the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies)
- Julio Berdegué at the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development
- Ernestina Godoy as Legal Counsel to the Federal Executive
- Jose antonio peña merino as Digital transformation agency of the government of Mexico
