Sci Fi (Polish TV channel)
Sci Fi in Poland was launched on December 1, 2007.[1] Today, it is available through satellite and cable television. Unlike its sister networks channels around the world, the Polish channel has maintained use of the "Sci Fi" brand as-is, as the word "syfy" sounds similar to syphilis in plural form in the Polish language.[2]
