Sherpur, Bangladesh
Sherpur is a town in northern Bangladesh. It is the headquarters of Sherpur district of Mymensingh Division.

Demographics
According to the 2022 Bangladesh census, Sherpur city had a population of 123,513 and a literacy rate of 79.21%.[2]: 388–394
According to the 2011 Bangladesh census, Sherpur city had 22,665 households and a population of 97,979. 20,734 (21.16%) were under 10 years of age. Sherpur had a literacy rate (age 7 and over) of 56.19%, compared to the national average of 51.8%, and a sex ratio of 975 females per 1000 males. Ethnic population was 591 (0.60%).[1]
