Sneha Shankar is an Indian playback singer and live performer. She has sung for many Bollywood movies, including Hanuman: Da' Damdaar, and Chup: Revenge of the Artist.

Early life

Sneha Shankar is the daughter of singer and music director Ram Shankar,[1] and granddaughter of Shankar of the Sufi singers duo Shankar-Shambhu.[2] At the age of six she appeared in a TV show MTV Sound Trippin on MTV India.

Career

Shankar started her career and participated in various singing reality shows including The Super Star Singer.

In 2019 she sang for the Hindi version of a Hollywood movie The Lion King.[3]

She has worked with various music composers including Himesh Reshammiya, Sneha Khanwalkar, Amit Trivedi, and Jeet Gannguli.
