Description

Solanum trilobatum is a delicate, tropical perennial plant often cultivated in temperate climates. The stem is often spiny. The flowers are white or purple in color, with a five-lobed corolla and yellow stamens. The fruit is small, red coloured berry.

Uses

Solanum trilobatum is used in the Indian cuisine, and is given to people with ailments such as fever, cold and cough. Its leaves are used for culinary purposes, and the thorns are removed prior to cooking.
