Myripristinae

Myripristinae is a subfamily of the ray-finned fish family Holocentridae. They are typically known as soldierfish.[2]

Fossil members of the group include Africentrum from Malta, Holocentrites from Florida, and Eoholocentrum from Italy.[3]
