History

Symphony Mobile launched in 2008. The company rebranded Chinese Mobile.At the end of 2012, the company released its first mobile with Android operating system in the market.

In 2014, Symphony launched Roar A50, one of the first phone of Android One lineup.[2]

Since 2018, it has started assembling its mobile phones at Jirabo in Ashulia in the country. By the end of 2020, they have started manufacturing phone motherboards in the country.[3][4]

Product content

The company only markets mobile phones. Most are imported from China. But currently, mobile phones are manufactured in Bangladesh in its own factories. Most mobile multimedia is supported. Some have the facility to run Java apps. The company is offering three types of mobiles:

  • General multimedia phone;
  • Java supported mobile phones;
  • Android mobile phone.
