She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 406, achieved on 29 January 2024, and a best doubles ranking of No. 741, achieved on 12 February 2024.[1] She has won three singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. She plays college tennis at the Iowa State University.[2]
Ito won her first major ITF title at the W40 doubles tournament in Shenzhen, China.[3]
For her WTA debut, she received a main-draw wildcard at the Thailand Open in Hua Hin and lost to Yulia Putintseva in three sets.[4]
