Valerie Nares-Pillow
Valerie A Nares-Pillow (1936–2022), was a swimmer who competed for England.

Swimming career
She represented England at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver in the 110 yard freestyle and won a bronze medal in the 440 yards freestyle relay.[1][2]
She was a member of the Surrey Ladies Swimming Club.
Personal life
She married Michael Montague in 1959 and was later known as Valerie Preston.[3]
Valerie died on the 29 October 2022 at the age of 86.
