Vereshchagin
The Vereshchagin family is an old Russian Boyar family. It was first documented in 1570, when Peter Vereshchagin, member of the family was listed as an Oprichnik of Ivan the Terrible.[1] Vereshchagin (Russian: Верещагин) is also a Russian masculine surname, while its feminine counterpart is Vereshchagina.[2]
