Yervand Mkrtchyan
Yervand Mkrtchyan (Arabic: Երվանդ Մկրտչյան; born 11 June 1996) is an Armenian middle and long-distance runner. A six time national champion, he is the Armenian national record holder for the 1500 metres and 3000 metres.[1] He is also a four time Balkan Athletics Championships winner, having won the 1500 metres three times and the 3000 metres once.[2] Mkrtchyan also competed in the 1500 metres at the 2022 and 2023 World Athletics Championships as well as in the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships.[3][4][5]
