Yuval Ranon (Hebrew: יובל רנון; born 11 February 2006) is an American/German/Israeli footballer who plays as a Striker & Attacking-Mid for SV Werder Bremen.

Early life

Ranon is the son of Barak Ranon and Antel Ranon.[1] He moved with his family from Israel to North Carolina, United States at a young age.[2]

Career

Ranon is playing for the youth academy of German Bundesliga side SV Werder Bremen, where he is regarded as one of the club's most important players.[3]Ranon holds the Top Goal scoring position consecutively for all teams he played for from U13-U19, while this past season 2023-24, Ranon earned a "double" securing Top Goal scorer and the number-one spot for most assists in his Werder Bremen U19 team. Ranon received his first invitation to play with SVWB 1st team on May 22, 2024 (18 years of age) and contributed with an impressive assist 64 minutes into the friendly match.

Style of play

Ranon mainly operates as a Striker and Attacking-Mid and has been described as a "poacher", smart & creative playmaker, top finisher.[4]
