  • The question is unclear. For single-word reasons, the period is obviously wrong and makes zero sense. But your use of "finally" suggests that the reasons are actually entire sentences, in which case the answer changes to the exact opposite. In the future, please provide the exact wording you are looking at and not some abstraction, because nobody can know if your abstraction is actually a valid one. – RegDwigнt Oct 24 '14 at 07:50

You would be well advised to go with option No:1 - The colon.

A colon is used to explain or start an enumeration.

i.e. I have three sisters: Daphne, Rose, and Suzanne.
