Why I have heard people say either There's two cars which I thought it should be There are two cars.
Or 's has some special meaning to it?

@Andrew: In actual fact, *there's* quite a few questions on this usage - all of which are probably duplicates. For example, “There’s” or “There are”?, There is (there's) vs.There are, and “There are so many” vs. “There is so many”. – FumbleFingers Apr 09 '15 at 17:03
