I am an ELICOS/EAP teachers with an active interest in applied linguistics. I believe language is a social semiotic - a system developed by people for communication. I'm interested in systemic functional linguistics (SLF) and legitimation code theory (LCT), a rapidly growing approach to the study of education, knowledge and practice.
