At present, I am working on my third novel, having previously been a writer and editor for several computer magazines from publishers Ziff Davis and IDG, as well as a freelance writer and communications consultant.

Having dabbled in a Linguistics major in my early university days, I veered into Soviet Studies and International Relations in my later education. I recognize, however, that an editor traffics in PREscriptive language and a linguist hews to the PROscriptive.

Nevertheless, I maintain that it is impossible to do the former properly without an adequate understanding of the latter.
