Årø (Denmark)

Årø (German: Aarö) is a small island in the Lillebælt in Denmark. It is placed 16 km east of Haderslev and just offshore from Årøsund. It has a population of approx. 160 people (2014) and size of 5.7 km2.[1]

Not to be confused with Ærø.
