1984 Basildon District Council election
The 1984 Basildon District Council election took place on 3 May 1984 to elect members of Basildon District Council in Essex, England. This was on the same day as other local elections. One third of the council was up for election; the seats which were last contested in 1980. The Labour Party retained control of the council, which it had held since 1982.
