1999 Asian PGA Tour
The 1999 Asian PGA Tour, titled as the 1999 Davidoff Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the fifth season of the Asian PGA Tour, the main professional golf tour in Asia (outside of Japan) since it was established in 1995.

Davidoff title sponsorship
In May, it was announced that the tour had signed a title sponsorship agreement with Davidoff, being renamed as the Davidoff Tour. The agreement was reported to be worth US$6,000,000 over three years.[1]

Han finished 14th in yesterday's Omega PGA Championship after carding a closing round 71 for a 281 aggregate total to finish the year with takings of US$204,210 in prize money.

Han accepted the 1999 Asian PGA Player of the Year Award and the Davidoff Order of Merit title at an awards ceremony in Malaysia.

Kyi Hla Han, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away in February of 2022, was himself a winner of the Player's Player of the Year Award in 1999, the year he secured the OOM title.
